The Kitty Count Down Begins

Saturday after about 6 hours at PetCo, Buckwheat was adopted by a newlywed couple who were also talked into adopting another kitten to be his buddy. The wife really wanted a female kitten but Buckwheat and our sweet one were by far the cutest being adopted, not that we're biased or anything. Her husband really wanted a boy. She saw Buckwheat and decided that a boy wouldn't be bad, score one for the husband! However another lady helping with the adoptions was able to help us talk her into another kitten since the couple both worked and bored kittens by themselves get into a lot of trouble! There was a little grey kitten she really wanted before she saw Buckwheat that was a little female, but that kitten didn't like Buckwheat and he didn't know what to think of her hissing and trying to attack him so they found one that both could be friends.

So now we have 9 cats. 3x's over the Clearfield city limitations but technically they're not all ours so I think we're ok. Hopefully this next Saturday we'll be a few less kitties.
