Serious update

So we're not very good bloggers as evidenced by our sparse posts. Gwendolyn is now one. We'll post pictures soon, promise. She has 9 teeth as to date and is finding more uses for them. Still not walking but since she didn't have crawling down till 10 months we're not surprised she's not in a huge hurry to walk. Uncle Chris then Uncle Brian came down from Washington and spent time with us which was a blast! Gwendolyn has decided Uncles are a good thing and has definitely missed them. The day after they both went home, Gwendolyn went looking for them in the guest room. Somehow she learned to say Chris and her Uncle successfully taught her to say "what" which she'll do sometimes when you call her name. She also says "yes" a lot and of course mama and dada.

We went to some local caves while her uncles were in town. Jeremy and I tried that around this time last year with no success. As soon as we got into the cave Gwendolyn had a meltdown so we had to leave. This time was much better, though toward the end the toddler and babies were pretty much done and ready for naps.

This last week we all survived the stomach flu. First Gwendolyn got it then both Jeremy and I. We're grateful for Benadryl and that it makes Gwendolyn sleepy not hyper. All are on the mend and things are getting back to normal.
