Taste testing

Gwendolyn has started exploring the world via taste lately.  For example when my friend Erin came for a visit, she bought swan food to feed the Royal Swans and Gwendolyn thought that was oh so fun.  The swans seemed to enjoy the food so Gwendolyn decided to find out why and tried some herself.  This of course got the gag reflex of her mommy which made it oh so much more fun to do again.  Luckily we eventually ran out of swan food.  After watching the movie Rio there was a scene where the bird fanatic tastes a feather to see if it belonged to the missing bird.  You see where I'm going with this?  Yep Gwendolyn found a pigeon feather, something she does often, (we have quite the collection from our many walks), but this time she decided to find out more about the bird that dropped it.   She was in her carseat and we were driving so there was little I could do but gag and encourage her to drop the feather.  For her birthday we spent the weekend in Wales and while on the beach she started licking rocks.  She also likes to lick her mommy and daddy occasionally, we hope this phase ends soon.
