Sometimes You Really Are Just A Number

Last Wednesday evening we got a call from the rescue organization we got our kittens from asking if we had any male kitties that could be fixed because they had a voucher they would like to use. Romeo is our only male kitten but only 3 months old which apparently is ok for boys because it isn't as extensive. The only requirement is they weigh at least 2lbs.

Thursday morning we packed him up in the car and used the little dog kennel Jennifer Jeremy's cousin lent us that she uses for her Yorkie. He was going to Ogden with Debbie the rescue coordinator for "The Big Fix" event the mobile vet company was sponsoring for strays and rescued cats.

We got him back that evening and when he climbed out of his kennel to greet us on our way back home he had a little piece of duct tape on his forehead with the number 75 which coordinated with his pain meds and the sticker on the kennel. They put the duct tape on the cat and the easy to peal sticker on the kennel. Poor kitty!
